One of the most important charts for calculating future possibilities IS the ingress chart mentioned in Part One. The first Uranus ingress was calculated for March 10, 2003 in Greenwich, England at 8:52 PM calculated by Solar Fire 5. In this chart, there are some very interesting indicators, the first one of which is the placement of the Sun in this chart. The Sun is in the lower right quadrant, which is the second quadrant. The Sun is the ‘life’ of a situation and that energy which drives the chart. In any sign, there is always a positive and negative side. The fifth house is the house of creativity and it is also representative of power and speculation as well as the birthing of new ideas. Uranus, the planet of ‘big dealers’ and groups is also placed in this house and suggests that a revolution in the arts, the economy and investments is coming. This revolution may occur or birth from the youth of the world. Since Pisces is sometimes considered to be the sign of the underdog or those less fortunate, the power of the dollar may weaken. Pisces is also the sign of ‘toxic waste management’ –either figuratively or truly. The revolution we see may be around the crisis of managing our toxic waste, either water, plastics, chemicals, or anything that seems to have no end. This revolution may also be metaphorically that we may awaken to the sheer waste in the world and awaken to the possibility of taking what exists and which can be redeveloped, rebuilt, redesigned, remade, reused, recycled, and that any industry or small business that holds this as its theme may fare very well. This awakening to reusing everything can also catch on a greater global level later on in the cycle if we can drop our borders and boundaries.

Pisces is the sign of boundary issues and we are already experiencing those issues in the world today. It is also the sign of symbols, colors, and right brain a-rational learning. We might be witness to the first learning databases for children which serve both the right brain (visual) and the left brain (logical) learner. We may finally see the school systems realizing the differences in learning systems and finally integrating both right and left-brain learning systems. If, in fact, this occurs, then we may in fact discover that our school population is not filled with as many Special Education candidates, but, simply, right brain learners who learn differently and whose learning needs have never been addressed. Tapping this very important resource, our youth, could help our world and economies as we make the big transitions starting in 2007 to 2011. There is a well-known tenet that if you catch a student’s motivation in high school, then he or she can go to any college and do very well. If you lose their motivation in high school, then it doesn’t really matter where they go for their higher education.

Since Pisces also rules petroleum and oil, this suggests that the oil supply and prices are volatile and that this ongoing crisis may actually trigger the invention of either synthetic oil, or, finally encourage larger productions of the already in use hybrid cars that use both electricity and gasoline in to run.

Pisces also rules the pharmaceutical arena as well as the holistic health arena. The successful merger between Western and Eastern medicines (as well as philosophy and education) are trend indicators, since the cost of hospitalization may continue to increase until larger groups of either HMO’s or of current medical health plans such as Blue Cross, drop their borders and boundaries and collaborate to serve the population more efficiently. As the population ages there is either a greater need for traditional health treatments, and/or, a trend towards the more holistic and psychological healing cures, which may reach greater success because of the rising costs of the straight medical models.

Since there are several planets in the second quadrant, particularly the fifth house of this ingress chart such as Mercury, Uranus and Pallas Athena, this suggests that the next seven years promises a high degree of problem solving and creative solutions as long as we are open to the possibilities. Strategic planning, strategic consulting, and coaching (Pallas Athena) are good careers for individuals who can help others think outside the box of their limited thinking in industry and business. Mercury, the planet of communication –speaking, writing, editing, sign language, foreign languages, network communications, travel and learning is where we are asked to take risks in industry as well. However, since Mercury is in a fall position in this particular chart, it may require a greater effort for successful communications in the world and communication negotiators and mediators may be important in achieving international contracts of agreements between nations and their various cultures.

Since the sign of Libra is at the ascendant, the identity of this seven year cycle and the sign of Aries is on the seventh house of open competition and open enemies, peaceful co-existence is a major challenge during this cycle. In trying to collaborate with others moments of hostile and aggressive acts by outside forces break out throughout the entire cycle. This suggests a need for sophisticated and intelligent means of negotiations, and, so, international laws, international counsels, and international tribunals may form as the result over the course of this period.

The planet Mars, which is the god of war in mythology, falls in the third house of travel and transport. Since Mars is exalted in this chart and falls in the house of neighbors, communications, the press, and exports, it is very possible that in the processing of securing future security for nations, various groups alienate their neighbors, or push them to collaborate. Where we may see this ‘unspoken’ confrontational pattern may be in the stringent controls of imports and exports as a form of ‘war’ between others and ourselves. Embargos may be part of this seven year landscape driving prices up and forcing countries and individuals to fall back on their own resources and to creatively use what they already have. This is supported by the fact that Venus, which rules values and spending and is aligned with Neptune that large amounts of inflation are promised. Values may also dissolve as currencies continue to merge throughout the world and those values transition to another level as many of the slower planets move into cardinal signs between 2007 and 2010.
